Please flag any issues you find to <a href=\"mailto:hello@rackemapp.com\">hello@rackemapp.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The fundamental principles of the Double Elimination system is that when you lose a match, you go into a second pool of entries &#8220;losers side&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Double Elimination competition operates under a template structure in RackEmApp.  When you choose the round type it will suggest a template which ensures players don&#8217;t play each other twice until after it switches to single elimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setting up a Double Elimination requires you to have reached the Round stage of the Competition setup, and this must be the first round in the competition. Although this is your &#8220;First&#8221; roumd, the system will create all subsequent rounds as part of this process, automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you choose the Round Type: Double Elimination, you get a list of templates to choose from. This is a pre-filtered list based upon the number of entries in your competition, so it will only display templates valid to your field<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"641\" height=\"319\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1501\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-1.png 641w, https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/image-1-300x149.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 641px) 100vw, 641px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Where it says &#8220;To last&#8230;&#8221; that means once there are x competititors remaining it switches to Single Elimination\/Straight Knockout format<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We currently support field sizes of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>256 (to last 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>128 (to last 64, 32, 16, 2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>64 (To last 32, 16, 8, 2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>32 (To last 16, 8, 4, 2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>16 (To last 8, 4, 2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we support the following field sizes.
