The concept of a perpetual allows leagues to record history for winners and runners up of leagues and competitions. Perpetuals are accessed through <strong>League Management &gt; Perpetuals.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"234\" height=\"402\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-552\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/image-11.png 234w, https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/image-11-175x300.png 175w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The creation of a perpetual is usually performed in the necessary wizrd\/area, so you do not create them here. However, you can edit them, and delete any mistakenly created perpetuals. it will not allow you to delete one where there is data present &#8211; for example, a division that has been used in a season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You get the opportunity to edit 3 fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Name<\/strong> &#8211; This is how it will appear in all lists. However there are occasions where you might want to correct a mistake, or more interestingly, populate your Roll of Honour with all the rich history your league from before you adopted RackEmApp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The capabilities of the roll of honour depend on if you are looking at a Division or a Competition, and if a competition, if it is a Team competition or for individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One commonality across them all is that a Roll of Honour record has to be linked to a Season. You don&#8217;t need an exact date, just pick one that places this season in the right place chronologically relating to your other seasons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Season Player Statistics Name<\/strong> is the name of your &#8220;Hotshots&#8221;. it is linked to the Season so it can change seasonally if needed, but you can just fill it in with whatever makes sense for your league.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Division<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the divisional roll of honour you have to provide 4 items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"773\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-894\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-10.png 773w, https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-10-300x163.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.rackemapp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image-10-768x417.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 773px) 100vw, 773px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Winning Team<\/strong> &#8211; This allows you to choose the Parent Team which all the history is linked to for this seasons runner up for this division. You can optionally set the &#8220;Seasonal&#8221; team name to be what that team was called that season. You can also create a New Team if you need to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Runner Up Team <\/strong>&#8211; This allows you to choose the Parent Team which all the history is linked to for this seasons runner up for this division. You can optionally set the &#8220;Seasonal&#8221; team name to be what that team was called that season. The example below is for a Doubles competition, but for singles you will only see on player for winner\/runner up.
